The mood board gave us an opportunity to see how each individual piece would work as part of the larger nursery design. At the center of the palette is a soft powder blue paired with black, blue-gray, warm beige, and creamy ivory.

The pale blue glider immediately established the softer side of the design. Its tailored silhouette and subtle piping feel sophisticated enough to remain relevant well beyond the nursery years. Pairing it with a black crib adds just the right amount of contrast.

A striped black-and-white vase brings another graphic element into the mix, while the woven ceiling fixture introduces natural texture. Together, these pieces create a modern nursery palette that feels coordinated without requiring every item to match.

Bringing the Blue Nursery Design to Life
